ADDITIONAL INFO

Our synthetic fibers are made of 100% virgin polypropylene resin. The fibers are usually divided into two categories: Fibrillated or Monofilament (Multifilament). Both types are used in concrete reinforcement.

Monofilament fibers are extruded from polypropylene resin into extremely fine, hair-like multifilament form. These fibers are produced on a state of the art production line specifically designed to yield ultra fine fibers for a secondary concrete reinforcement with enhanced characteristics for a better finish – making it ideal for high visibility areas.

HOW THEY WORK:

The reduction or elimination of plastic micro cracks enables the concrete to better develop its optimum integrity. Millions of fibers, evenly distributed throughout the concrete serve to provide a unique support system to the freshly poured concrete. These same fibers also help reinforce the hardened concrete and increase the impact and shatter resistance.

BENEFITS

Synthetic Fibers are specifically engineered for use in concrete as secondary reinforcement, and for the purpose of controlling plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking.

Synthetic Concrete Fiber Reinforcement is used to substantially reduce the formation of plastic micro cracks, by increasing the tensile capacity of plastic concrete during the initial setting process.
