HPS High-Performance Fibers


High Performance Synthetic Fibers are sometimes referred to as "Micro Fibers." These micro fibers provide an Excellent bond to the concrete that enhances the toughness and post crack ductility of the concrete.

  • Materials - HPS Fibers are made of a special Polypropylene material.
  • Increased Length & Thickness - The length and thickness of HPS fibers are more than that of regular concrete fibers. The bond to the concrete is greater because of this increase.
  • HPS Blends - When the HPS fibers are combined with the micro fibers, this blend provides reinforcement for plastic as well as restrained shrinkage cracking.
  • Dosages - Typical dosages of the HPS Fibers range from 3 lbs to 7 lbs depending on such factors as loading conditions, joint spacing, shrinkage considerations, and mix design.
